The Parisian DJ, born to Algerian parents, is one of the most influential musicians in the world. In May, he became the first solo DJ to fill the Stade de France, announcing at the same time that it would certainly be his last Parisian date, because nothing could top this legendary venue. But DJ Snake's career is far from over, and he used the occasion of this legendary show to announce a new album, Nomad, due for release on 5 September. Building on numerous successes, he made his mark with ‘Turn Down for What’, featuring Lil Jon, in 2013. Then ‘Lean On’, produced with Major Lazer and featuring Mø, transformed his career (and our dance floors), becoming one of the most streamed tracks in the world. Not to mention ‘Disco Maghreb’, which has had nearly 200 million views on YouTube. In June, he paid tribute to the star couple Amadou and Mariam by sampling their masterpiece ‘Sabali’ for his track ‘Patience’ and releasing a music video worthy of the greatest directors.
